Padres Serve Up Marlins

The San Diego Padres pulled by the Miami Marlins 2-1 at Petco Park on Monday night. The Marlins, who continued their six-game road trip of the West Coast, faced former teammate Luis Arraez for the first time since being traded to the Friars earlier this month.
San Diego(29-28) had a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second. Former Marlin Donovan Solano lifted a solo homer to left field on a 0-1 pitch for his first homer in a Padres uniform.
Miami(19-36) answered back in the top of the third as tied it 1-1. Jazz Chisholm Jr. smacked a solo home run to right-center field on a 2-0 pitch for his eighth home run of the season.
In the seventh inning, the Padres took a 2-1 lead. Jake Cronenworth walked with the bases loaded and Ha-Seong Lee crossed the plate.
