Anderson, an American Heritage High School grad, made two appearances with the Rangers earlier this season with a 5.40 earned run average. He previously played for the San Francisco Giants, Minnesota Twins, Baltimore Orioles, San Diego Padres, Toronto Blue Jays and Texas Rangers.
