Padres Blank Marlins

     The Miami Marlins were held scoreless by the San Diego Padres 3-0 on Tuesday night at Petco Park. The Marlins have the worst record in the National League. 
     San Diego(30-28) rocketed out to a 2-0 lead during the bottom of the first. Jurickson Profar smashed a two-run homer to center field on a 3-1 pitch with Fernando Tatis Jr. aboard. It was Profar's eighth home run of the year. 
     It became 3-0 for the Padres in the bottom of the fifth. Profar singled through the left side for Luis Arraez to score. 
     Miami(19-37) surrendered another run in the eighth inning and trailed 4-0. Donovan Solano knocked in Manny Machado with a double into left field.
