Inter Miami CF Fly By Vancouver Whitecaps FC

     Inter Miami CF handled the Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2-1 at BC Place on Saturday night. It was the first time that Inter Miami CF had participated in a contest at Vancouver. In addition, the team took their longest flight ever to play in a Major League Soccer game. 
     Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets did not travel with the club. Inter Miami CF now has an eight-game MLS unbeaten streak. 
     In the first half, Inter Miami CF(10-2-4) took a 1-0 lead during the 38th minute. Robert Taylor blasted in a right-footed shot from 13 yards away. 
     It became 2-0 for the Herons in the 54th minute of play. Taylor fed a pass from down low and Leonardo Campana scored from eight yards out on a right-footed shot. 
     Vancouver(5-5-4) cut the deficit to 2-1 in the 72nd minute. Ryan Gauld placed in penalty kick with his left foot into the low left corner of the cage.
