Marlins Storm By Rangers

     The Miami Marlins returned home after a six-game road trip and beat the Texas Rangers 8-2 at loanDepot park on Friday night. The Rangers are the defending World Series Champions. The Marlins have won five of their last eight games. 

     Miami(21-37) placed two runs in the second inning and two runs in the third inning for a 4-0 advantage. Texas(27-30) picked up one run during the fourth inning along with one run in the fifth. The Marlins put away the contest in the bottom of the seventh as they got three runs for a 7-2 lead.
