The Miami Heat advanced to the NBA Finals for the second consecutive year as they beat the Boston Celtics 101-88 in game seven on Saturday night at American Airlines Arena. The Heat won the Eastern Conference Finals 4-3 in the seven-game series. They will travel to Oklahoma City and play the Thunder in game one of the finals on Tuesday night.
The Celtics were ahead 82-81with 8:43 left in the fourth quarter. The Heat finished the game on a 20-6 run to pull off the victory. LeBron James had 31 points and 12 rebounds for Miami while Dwyane Wade added 23 points and Chris Bosh contributed 19 points. All five starters for Boston had double figures in points as Rajon Rondo completed a triple-double with a team-high 22 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds.
