The Miami Marlins had no trouble against Cliff Lee as they upended the Philadelphia Phillies 6-2 on Friday at Marlins Park. Lee(0-5) went just 4 2/3 innings and surrendered six runs on ten hits. Josh Johnson(5-5) got the win going six innings while giving up one run on four hits and struck out six.

Miami extended their lead to 3-0 in the third inning. Ramirez doubled down the left field line with one out. Stanton knocked him in with an RBI-single to left field. Morrison would single to shallow left and Justin Ruggiano singled to left to load the bases for the Marlins. Omar Infante followed with a sacrifice fly to center field and brought in Stanton.
Hunter Pence closed the gap for the Phillies to 3-1 with a lead-off solo home run to right field on a 3-2 pitch in the fourth inning. It was his 15th homer for him this season.

Ruggiano then doubled to deep center field to score Stanton and Morrison. Following a fly out to right by Infante and a Gaby Sanchez walk, John Buck drove in Ruggiano on a single to left field for a 6-1 lead.
