The Miami Heat survived elimination with a 103-91 victory over the Toronto Raptors in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals at American Airlines Arena on Friday night. The series is tied three games apiece with the finale to be held on Sunday in Toronto.
Goran Dragic led the Heat with 30 points while Dwyane Wade added 22. Kyle Lowry had a game-high 36 points for the Raptors.
Neither club were up more than three points in the opening frame as the Heat led 21-20 after one quarter. Miami scored the first six points of the second quarter and were ahead 53-44 at halftime.
The Heat extended the gap to double digits as Toronto trailed 82-72 after three quarters. Toronto was only able to cut the deficit down to six points only once in the fourth quarter.
