South Florida Awarded Super Bowl LIV

The National Football League announced on Tuesday that South Florida has been rewarded Super Bowl LIV to be played in February 2020 at the home of the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins and owner Stephen Ross are currently in a two-year renovation project to upgrade their stadium. One of the main purposes was to attract a Super Bowl in the near future.
South Florida will move ahead of New Orleans as they will host the Super Bowl for the 11th time. The last time the Super Bowl was held in South Florida was Super Bowl XLIV in February 2010 between the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts.
