The Park Vista Cobras went on the road and got by the Royal Palm Wildcats 7-6 in a spring football game that lasted less than one quarter on Thursday night. The game was halted due to lightning in the vicinity and the contest was never resumed.
Park Vista moved ahead 7-0 at 4:05 as quarterback Trace Doyle fired a 15-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Atorian Perry.
Royal Palm Beach was able to score with 2:18 left in the quarter when running back Jerry Griffin ran 68 yards for a touchdown. The game was stopped by officials prior to the attempt of the extra point.
