Miami Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM has acquired the radio rights of the Miami Dolphins with a long-term agreement. The games will also be broadcast on Kiss Country 99.9 WKIS-FM. The Dolphins radio rights had been carried by iHeartMedia Miami for the past six years and their games were broadcast on Miami Sports 940 WINZ-AM and Big 105.9 WBGG-FM.
WQAM had broadcast Miami Dolphins games on the radio in previous reigns. The first stint, which happened from 1997 to 2004, had play-by-play announcers Bill Zimpfer and Howard David alongside game analyst Jim Mandich. The second stint they had it was from 2007 until 2009 with play-by-play announcer Jimmy Cefalo along with game analysts Jim Mandich and Joe Rose.
