The Florida Panthers have resigned right wing Jaromir Jagr to a one-year contract on Thursday. Jagr had 66 points in 79 games with the Panthers last season.
He passed Marcel Dionne and Brett Hull in career goals last season and trails just Wayne Gretzky and Gordie Howe in NHL goals. Jagr is now 19 points behind Mark Messier for second all-time.
