The Miami Heat beat the San Antonio Spurs 95-88 at American Airlines Arena on Wednesday night. The Heat have won two straight games.
Miami(5-5) started out with a 27-20 lead after one quarter and remained in front 50-42 at halftime. San Antonio(6-4) was unable to gain ground and were down 75-64 after the third quarter.
Hassan Whiteside compiled a double-double for the Heat with 29 points and 23 rebounds. Wayne Ellington added 20 points and Justise Winslow contributed 16 points. DeMar DeRozan fell short of the triple-double for the Spurs with 18 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists.
