The West Palm Beach saw some adjustments during the month of October among the three local sports talk format stations. ESPN West Palm 106.3 WUUB-FM had more syndicated baseball playoff broadcasts from ESPN Radio along with several FAU football games not held on Saturday. There were less high school football broadcasts by that organization.
640 The Hurricane WMEN-AM jumped from a 0.2 to a 0.4 during the month. Steve Diener took over the reigns of Kevin's Other Show for two weeks until it was shifted to be a podcast temporary in the middle of the period. The New York Yankees entered the baseball playoffs and made it to the American League Divisional Series.
1230 The Zone WBZT-AM remained at a 0.0 for the second straight month. The station saw the end of the Miami Marlins regular season and had to rely on nationally syndicated CBS Sports Radio 20 hours every weekday.
