The Miami Marlins played their first road game of the 2019 season and were shut out by the Atlanta Braves 4-0 at SunTrust Park on Friday night. The Marlins were held to just two hits in the first eight innings.
Atlanta(4-3) gained a 2-0 lead in the fourth inning. Ronald Acuna Jr. blasted a two-run homer to right-center field on a 3-2 pitch. Freddie Freeman also scored on the play. Tyler Flowers later connected with a solo home run to left field on a 1-1 count.
The Braves later make it 4-0. Ender Inciarte knocked in Dansby Swanson with a base hit into right field.

Miami(2-6) almost scored in the top of the ninth. Peter O'Brien led off with a walk and Martin Prado followed with a double to left field. Three batters later, Neil Walker walked to load the bases with two out. Stalin Castro hit a long drive to the warning track in left field, however Acuna caught the ball to end the game.
