The Oakland Raiders selected cornerback Trayvon Mullen in the second round with the 40th overall pick of the 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville on Friday night. Mullen played on two CFP national champions with the Clemson University Tigers in 2016 and 2018. He played high school football with the Coconut Creek Cougars.
His cousin quarterback Lamar Jackson was drafted last year as the final pick of the first round by the Baltimore Ravens. His brother Tiawan Mullen also attended Coconut Creek and will play as a defensive back with Indiana University this fall.
