The Florida High School Athletic Association announced on Saturday that the spring sports season has been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. None of the high school sports athletes will got additional eligibility.
The FHSAA made their decision based on the ruling by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to keep all high school campuses closed. There will also be no spring high football practices, which were to begin on April 27, and Spring Jamboree high school football games in May.
