University of Miami Hurricanes wide receiver Jeff Thomas has joined the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent. His fellow college teammate defensive lineman Trevon Hill has also been picked up by that club.
Thomas played three seasons with the Canes. He helped the school win the ACC Coastal Division in 2017. Thomas played 34 games in three years as he compiled 83 receptions for 1,319 yards and eight touchdowns.
Hill was with the Miami Hurricanes last season after playing four years with Virginia Tech. He had 27 total tackles along with 4 1/2 sacks in 2019.
