South Florida High School Sports.com went out of business earlier this month. A decision was made by Entercom Communications to eliminate the product and was part of budget cuts due to the coronavirus pandemic. There were no website articles since April 6 and the last time there was any mention of the company over the radio airwaves at 560 The Joe WQAM-AM was on April 9.
South Florida High School Sports.com was established in 2006 under Beasley Broadcasting when they owned WQAM. They ran it initially as as website and the radio station later added a weekly show that was hosted by lead writer and longtime high school football recruiting reporter Larry Blustein. Other people who did contribute to South Florida High School Sports.com included Josh Darrow and J.T. Wilcox.
