Former 560 WQAM-AM sports host Scott Ferrall has joined SB Nation Radio as their new afternoon host. He will begin his new position on April 14 from 4PM to 6PM. SB Nation Radio and its programming is not relayed by any South Florida sports format radio station.
Ferrall currently hosts a sports betting video afternoon show and evening show on SportsGrid since January 29. The afternoon program that he announces will be syndicated by SB Nation Radio.
He was a mid-morning host on WQAM during 2003 and 2004. His show was sandwiched between the Howard David Show and the Neil Rogers Show. Ferrall was also carried by that radio station through national syndication over the past 25 years.
Ferrall hosted the syndicated Ferrall On The Bench late night program on Westwood One from 1995 until 1999. After a one-year stint as the original radio play-by-play announcer of the Atlanta Thrashers for the 1999-2000 season, he was the late night host for Sportsfan Radio Network from 2000 until April 23, 2001.
He has been based in New York City since the middle of 2001. Ferrall hosted a morning program on WNEW-FM and was a weekend host on WFAN-AM during the early 2000s.
Ferrall was the evening host on the Howard Stern Channel at SiriusXM Radio from 2006 to 2012. He recently hosted the late night show on CBS Sports Radio Network from January 2013 until January 7, 2020.
