Men's professional golf will see new dates for all of their 2020 major tournaments held in the United States due to the coronavirus pandemic. It will affect top pro golfers that reside in South Florida which includes Tiger Woods.
The Masters will to be played this upcoming weekend in Augusta, Georgia and it was shifted to November 12-15. The PGA Championship moved from May to August 6-9 in San Francisco while the U.S. Open scheduled in June was changed to September 17-20.
The other major golf tournament the British Open to be played on July 16-19 was cancelled and will not be made up. The last time it was not held was in 1945 because of World War II.
