Heat Pound Wizards

     The Miami Heat hosted the Washington Wizards in the second contest of a two-game set and easily handled them 122-95 at American Airlines Arena on Friday night. It completed a five-game homestand for the Heat. 
     Miami(8-14) started off with a 19-11 spurt and were up 40-27 at the end of the first quarter. The Heat continued to pull away and led 71-43 at halftime. Washington(5-14) could not come closer during the third quarter and trailed 106-70. 
     Kendrick Nunn chalked up 25 points along with eight rebounds for the Heat and Bam Adebayo added 21 points. Kelly Olynyk and Tyler Herro both scored 17 points each. 
     Russell Westbrook returned to the lineup and contributed 13 points for the Wizards. Alex Len had a team-high 18 points for them.
