Former Miami Marlins baseball executive Michael Hill has been hired by Major League Baseball. He will hold the title of senior vice president of on-field operations.
Hill was the Miami Marlins president of baseball operations until October 2020. He joined the Florida Marlins in 2002 and was promoted to general manager of the franchise in September 2013. The club made two postseason appearances and won the 2003 World Series during his long tenure.
