The Miami Heat defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 108-94 on Monday night at Chesapeake Energy Center. The Heat finally completed their seven-game road trip against Western Conference opponents with a 4-3 record. They have prevailed in three straight and seven of their last 10 contests.
Miami(14-17) had a slight 23-21 advantage at the end of the first quarter. Oklahoma City(12-19) outperformed the second quarter and were up 54-45 at halftime. The Heat erased the deficit and led 79-77 at the end of three quarters.
The Heat were led by Bam Adebayo with a double-double of 19 points and 13 rebounds. Jimmy Butler fell short of a double-double with 15 points and nine assists. Kendrick Nunn compiled 20 points and nine assists while Duncan Robinson poured in a team-high 22 points.
Shai Gildeous-Alexander had a game-high 27 points for the Thunder. Darius Bazley dropped in 13 points and Isaiah Roby scored 12 points.
