Red Wings Come Back On Panthers

     The Detroit Red Wings overcame the Florida Panthers 2-1 on Saturday night at Little Caesars Arena. It concluded a four-game road trip for the Panthers. 
     Florida(11-3-2) got the only goal in the first period on the power play with 5:17 left. Alex Wennberg got his fifth goal of the season on assists from Anthony Duclair and Frank Vatrano. Wennberg has compiled five goals and seven points over the last eight contests. 
     Detroit(5-12-3) mounted a comeback during the second period. Patrik Nemeth evened it up 1-1 at 10:09 of the frame. Mathias Brome scored his first NHL goal with 2:33 remaining in the second to give the Red Wings a 2-1 lead.
