ESPN sports reporter Rachel Nichols will join CNN and Turner Sports as of January 28. She will leave ESPN after being there for nine years as a sports reporter. She will first report from the Super Bowl for both organizations and will host a weekend sports show on CNN later this year.
Nichols was known as Rachel Alexander when she worked at the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel from 1995 until 1996 as a sports writer. She then moved to the Washington Post and was a sports writer there from 1996 until 2004.
