Former Miami Dolphins defensive end Jason Taylor was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday. He will be inducted with six others in early August during a ceremony held in Canton, Ohio.
Taylor played the majority of his NFL career with the Dolphins in three different stints from 1997-2007, 2009 and 2011. He also played one season each with the Washington Redskins and New York Jets.
He had 139.5 career sacks which in sixth all-time in NFL history. Taylor had 131 quarterback sacks in 204 games with the Dolphins and only missed four games in 13 seasons with Miami. He also set the NFL record with six fumble recoveries returned for a touchdown.
