Shane Battier has rejoined the Miami Heat in their basketball operations department as director of basketball development and analytics. He played with the club for three seasons and helped the franchise capture two NBA championships and three Eastern Conference titles.
Battier retired after the 2013-14 season and moved to television work with ESPN in July 2014. He was employed with them for only one year as a college basketball game analyst and studio analyst.
