Former local radio producer Ron Flatter has joined Vegas Stats and Information Network(VSIN) and will begin on February 27. Flatter leaves his position as a sports anchor at CBS Sports Radio Network which he had since January 2016. He also worked as a sports anchor at WFAN-AM and WINS-AM in New York City prior to that.
Flatter is best known for being the afternoon show producer for Hank Goldberg on Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM during the mid 1990s. He did fill in for Jon "Boog" Sciambi as the studio and intermission host on the Florida Panthers radio broadcasts in the later rounds during their l995-96 long playoff run to the Stanley Cup Finals.
He left Miami for ESPN Radio where he became a producer and reporter. Flatter later added duties as a horse racing reporter for ESPN. He was an overnight news anchor for Fox News Radio from 2013 until 2015.
