The Florida Panthers won their third straight game on the road as they topped the Anaheim Ducks 4-1 at Honda Center on Friday night. The Panthers have been victorious in six of their last seven games.
Both clubs combined for four goals in the second period. Andrew Cogliano gave Anaheim(30-19-10) a 1-0 lead with a shorthanded goal that was assisted by former Panther Logan Shaw.
Florida(26-20-10) tied it 1-1 at the 4:18 mark when Colton Sceviour put in his seventh goal of the year. Jaromir Jagr would steal the puck from Josh Manson at the side of the net and scored an unassisted goal at 6:58 to give the Panthers the lead. Aaron Ekblad added a power-play goal for a two-goal margin at 10:08.
