Former Miami Heat teammates Dwyane Wade and LeBron James will face each other for the final time in a National Basketball Association game. The Miami Heat visit the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center on Monday night. Wade announced earlier this year that this would be his last season.
Both James and Wade came into the NBA at the same time. James was picked first overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers and Wade was selected fifth overall by the Heat at the 2003 NBA Draft. Wade and James became teammates in 2010 and played four seasons together with the Miami Heat. They compiled two NBA championships in 2012 and 2013 along with four consecutive Eastern Conference titles.
