Flyers Rocked By Panthers

The Florida Panthers played their final home game in 2018 and came back on the Philadelphia Flyers 2-1 on Saturday night at BB&T Center. The Panthers have won five of their last seven games.
Philadelphia(15-17-5) struck early at 1:45 of the first period to go up 1-0. Scott Laughton cleared the Flyers zone with a pass to Jordan Weal at center ice. He carried it into the slot, dropped the puck and South Florida native Shayne Gostisbehere scored on a wrist shot from the top left circle by James Reimer.
It was the second goal for "The Ghost" in the last 21 games. Gostisbehere compiled his third career goal in 10 games against the Panthers.
Florida(16-15-5) was able to score a power-play goal with 6:44 left in the third period. Alekander Barkov got a rebound in the crease and passed out to Jonathan Huberdeau in the low left circle. His cross-ice pass went to Mike Hoffman in the right circle and he blasted a slapshot past Carter Hart.
The Panthers took their first lead with 1:06 remaining in the contest. Evgenii Dadonov dropped a pass from the left circle to Barkov in the slot and he slap-passed to Huberdeau for the goal from the right circle.
