Jonathan Zaslow Off The Air

AM 560 Sports WQAM-AM midday host and Miami Heat Radio Network studio co-host Jonathan Zaslow has been off the radio airwaves due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols.  The National Basketball Association has used this policy and has affected other Miami Heat announcers like play-by-play announcer Jason Jackson earlier this season in December.
Alex Donno filled in as the host of the WQAM midday program on Tuesday and Wednesday. Zaslow's on-air sidekick and producer Dan Day took over on Thursday. Zaslow will return and work the midday shift on Friday.
Zaslow is expected to miss some of the Eastern Conference Finals series between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics as the Miami Heat radio studio co-host. He missed Game 1 on Tuesday and will most likely not be on the air for Game 2 tonight.
He had been on the Miami Heat Radio Network as the studio co-host since the 2010-11 season. Zaslow and his midday show was shifted over from Sports Talk 790 The Ticket to AM 560 Sports WQAM-AM in October 2021.
