Marlins Edged By Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers got by the Miami Marlins 2-1 at loanDepot park on Friday night. The Marlins, who celebrated the 25th anniversary of their 1997 World Series championship team, lost their 11th one-run game this year.
Milwaukee(21-12) jumped on the Fish in the opening frame. Kolten Wong hit the second pitch of the game over the right-field fence for his second homer of the season to give them a 1-0 lead.
Miami(14-18) bounced back and evened it up 1-1 in the bottom of the third. Jesus Aguilar crushed a solo home run to left-center field on a 1-2 pitch for his fourth homer of the season.
There would be no more scoring until the top of the ninth. The Brewers loaded the bases and then Jace Peterson walked to score former Marlins player Christian Yelich.
