Florida will begin their regular season on the road with three games. The Panthers have their season-opening contest at the Minnesota Wild on October 12. They will then play at the Winnipeg Jets on October 14 and at the New Jersey Devils on October 16.
The Panthers will have their home opener on October 19 at FLA Live Arena in Sunrise. They will host the Toronto Maple Leafs, who they eliminated in the second round of the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Cats get the complete a four-game homestand against the Vancouver Canucks on October 21, the San Jose Sharks on October 24 and the Seattle Kraken on October 28.
Florida will play their Atlantic Division opponents four times with two games each at home and two on the road. The exception is one home game against cross-state rivals the Tampa Bay Lightning and one road game versus the Buffalo Sabres.
The Cats will challenge their Metropolitan Division foes on three occasions. They will host the New York Islanders, Philadelphia Flyers, Washington Capitals and Columbus Blue Jackets twice this season and visit each of those teams once. Florida will head for the New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils, Pittsburgh Penguins and the Eastern Conference Finals opponent Carolina Hurricanes two times and host all of them just once in 2023-24.
The Panthers will face each Western Conference team once at home and once on the road. They will host their 2023 Stanley Cup Final opponent the Vegas Golden Knights on December 23.
