Miguel Cabrera 20th Anniversary Debut

Today is the 20th anniversary for the Major League Baseball debut of Miguel Cabrera. He made his first Florida Marlins appearance on June 20, 2003 against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in Miami. His first hit in the majors was a walk-off home run during his first MLB contest.
Cabrera would help the Marlins win the 2003 World Series later that year for their second championship in franchise history. He was traded by the Marlins to the Detroit Tigers on December 4, 2007. Cabrera won an American League pennant with the Tigers in 2012, hit over 500 career home runs and chalked up over 3,100 career base hits. He is currently playing in his 21st and final MLB season this year.
