White Sox Slip By Marlins

The Chicago White Sox eased by the Miami Marlins 2-1 on Friday night at Guaranteed Rate Field. The Marlins had their six-game winning streak snapped.
The Marlins made a rare appearance in the White Sox home ballpark. The Fish will now show up at that venue once every four seasons. Miami does appear yearly at Wrigley Field against the Chicago Cubs because they play in the National League.
Chicago(29-36) scored in the second inning to go up 1-0. Yasmani Grandal belted a solo home run to right field for his fifth homer of the year.
Miami(35-29) tied it 1-1 in the top of the fifth. Joey Wendle collected his first home run of the season with a homer to right field on a full count.
The White Sox picked up the walk-off victory in the bottom of the ninth. Luis Robert Jr. singled through the left side for Elvis Andrus to score.
