Heat Dropped By Raptors

     The Miami Heat lost to the Toronto Raptors 119-116 on Sunday night at Scotiabank Arena. It was the second straight game both clubs played against each other. The Heat hosted the Raptors in Miami on Friday night. 

     Toronto(6-15) scooted out to a 34-24 lead at the conclusion of the first quarter. Miami(9-9) bounced back and were down 65-60 at halftime. 

     The Raptors stayed ahead 98-87 by the end of the third quarter. The Heat came within three points 113-110 with 1:27 remaining in the fourth quarter, however they ended up short. 

     Tyler Herro scored a club-high 33 points for Miami. Bam Adebayo had a double-double of 13 points, 20 rebounds and seven assists. Jimmy Butler and Terry Rozier both contributed 17 points each. 

     RJ Barrett collected a game-high 37 points along with seven rebounds for Toronto. They got double-doubles from two players. Scottie Barnes chalked up 23 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists while Jacob Poeltl put together 17 points and 11 rebounds.
