Heat Handle Raptors

     The Miami Heat stopped the Toronto Raptors 114-104 on Thursday night at Kaseya Center. The Heat had a three-day rest prior to this contest. It was the third time both clubs faced each other in the past 15 days. 
     Toronto(7-19) had a 27-24 advantage at the end of the first quarter. Miami(13-10) overcame them and led 58-51 at halftime. 
     The Heat remained in front 89-76 at the conclusion of the third quarter. The Raptors never came within single digits of the lead during the final quarter. 
     Tyler Herro led the Heat with game-high 23 points. Bam Adebayo finished with 21 points and 16 rebounds for a double-double. Jimmy Butler dropped in 11 points while Nikola Jovic drained in 14 points. 
     RJ Barrett finished with a triple-double for Toronto as he compiled 13 points, 10 assists and 11 rebounds. Gradey Dick ended up with a club-high 22 points and Jakob Poeltl was able to contribute 16 points in the loss.
