The Miami Heat beat the Phoenix Suns 121-111 at Kaseya Center on Saturday night. The Heat have back-to-back home games on consecutive days this weekend in Miami.
This matchup involved two clubs that were the NBA runner-up finalist in three of the past five seasons. Tonight's game was the first of three contests for the Heat during a nine-day stretch.
Phoenix(12-10) came out to a 29-26 lead at the conclusion of the first quarter. The Suns would remain in front 58-53 at halftime.
Miami(11-10) outscored their opponent 34-24 during the third quarter and took an 87-82 lead at the end of three quarters. Phoenix tried to come back during the fourth quarter and trailed by three points 103-100 with 4:35 left in the fourth.
Bam Adebayo led the Heat with a double-double of 25 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. Jimmy Butler finished with 24 points and seven rebounds. Duncan Robinson placed in 19 points while Tyler Herro had 17 points.
Devin Booker ended up with 21 points and seven assists for the Suns. Royce O'Neale compiled a team-high 23 points in the loss and Bradley Beal scored 15 points.
