Former Florida Panthers defenseman Brian Campbell has signed a one-year, $2 million contract with the Chicago Blackhawks. It is a return for Campbell to a team that he won a Stanley Cup title with in the 2009-10 season.
Campbell played five seasons with the Panthers and won two division titles with the club in 2011-12 and 2015-16. He had 28 goals and 147 assists in 376 games and never missed a contest in five years with the Cats. Campbell put together six goals along with 25 assists last season and helped Florida win the Atlantic Division title.
