Strikers Win Final Lockhart Stadium Game

     The Fort Lauderdale Strikers showed up for the final game ever played at Lockhart Stadium and defeated the Jacksonville Armada FC 1-0 on Saturday night. The Strikers have called Lockhart Stadium their home field since 1977. The club will now play their home games at Central Broward Stadium as of August 20.
     Fort Lauderdale(1-4-1) extended their streak of not scoring in the first half for the sixth consecutive game. Jacksonville(1-4-1) surrendered the only goal during the 88th minute of play. Maicon Santos trapped the ball and then fired a left-footed half-volley shot from ten yards out following a corner kick from the left side by Adrianinho.
