Forward Reilly Smith has signed a five-year contract extension with the Florida Panthers for $25 million on Sunday. He was acquired by the Panthers from the Boston Bruins prior to the 2015-16 season.
Smith scored a career-high 25 goals along with 25 assists in 82 games for Florida last season. He led the Panthers in playoff scoring against the New York Islanders in the six-game series with four goals and four assists.
