Goaltender Jason Reimer has signed a five-year, $17 million contract with the Florida Panthers on Friday. He played with the Toronto Maple Leafs for five seasons and has a career record of 91-78 with 12 shutouts, .914 save percentage and a 2.78 goals against average.
Reimer was acquired by the San Jose Sharks during the 2015-16 season and helped the club win their first Western Conference title. They eventually lost to the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Stanley Cup Final.
