Marlins Blanked Twice

The Miami Marlins were shut out in two consecutive home games. They lost 3-0 to the New York Mets on Sunday and were held to two hits by the Philadelphia Phillies as they fell 4-0 on Monday night. The Fish were shut out only three times during the first half of the season.
The Marlins are currently on a ten-game homestand and everyone has been looking at the milestone of Ichiro reaching 3,000 career hits. He has appeared on four occasions as a pinch-hitter and has been unable to get a base hit as he remains at 2,996 hits.
