Miami Herald sportswriter Armando Salguero is joining Radio.com as a sports insider. Salguero will be heard occasionally on 35 Entercom Communications sports radio stations throughout the United States for his sports expertise and opinions. It does include Miami Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM and Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM.
He had previous stints in South Florida radio. He was a sports host on 1700 The Fan WAFN-AM in Miami from 1999 to 2000. Salguero also was the morning co-host on 640 Sports WMEN-AM with The Amigo Larry Milian and later Chris Perkins from July 2010 until May 2012.
Salguero has been the Miami Dolphins beat writer at the Miami Herald since the 1990s. He was employed at ESPN as a sports reporter during the 2000s.
