Former Miami Marlins utility player Derek Dietrich has signed a minor-league contract with the Cincinnati Reds. He can play three positions on the infield and all three outfield positions.
Dietrich spent six seasons with the Marlins. He had a career-high 16 home runs and 26 doubles along with a .265 batting average in 2018. He played 608 games in Miami during six years with 60 home runs, 204 runs batted in and a .254 batting average.
