The Miami Heat will retire the number 1 jersey of Chris Bosh on March 26 in a halftime ceremony at American Airlines Arena when they face the Orlando Magic. It will be the fourth uniform number to be retired by the Heat franchise. The club has retired number 33 for Alonzo Mourning, number 10 for Tim Hardaway and number 32 for Shaquille O'Neal.
Bosh joined the Miami Heat in July 2010 as part of The Big Three which consisted of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and him. He helped the team win two NBA championships in 2012 and 2013. Bosh also compiled four consecutive Eastern Conference titles from 2011 to 2014.
