The San Jose Sharks have claimed center Micheal Haley from the Florida Panthers. It will be the second stint for Haley in San Jose. He played three seasons with the Sharks from 2014-15 to 2016-17 and he compiled 13 points in 78 games.
Haley signed with the Florida Panthers as a free agent on July 1, 2017. He led the NHL with 212 penalty minutes in 2017-18 as he put together nine points in 75 games. Haley had one goal and two assists in 24 games this season with the Panthers.
