The Florida Panthers have picked up right wing Cliff Pu from the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday. Both teams made a separate deal where the Panthers traded right wing Tomas Jurco to the Hurricanes.
Pu has split 2018-19 with the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League. He has put together six points in 44 games this season.
Jurco once played for seven seasons in the National Hockey League with the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks. He was with the Springfield Thunderbirds of the American Hockey League in 2018-19 and had 10 points in 14 games.
